Dometic S4 Hinged Window Repair

These windows are very often installed in motorhomes.

The S4 complete window system for motorhomes and caravans is only available in the following color scheme as an accessory:

Outer frame black RAL 9005, inner frame cream white RAL 9001, blackout roller blind with aluminum coating on the outside and cream white on the inside, white insect screen mesh, gray acrylic glass tint.

For a flat wall with a thickness of 26 mm (1 mm to 53 mm is possible - if more, you will have to improvise).

The cutout dimension to be prepared is approx. 4 mm smaller than the specified nominal dimension in both width and height for almost all windows.

(Exception: window size 1450×600 mm with a cutout dimension to be prepared of 1454×596 mm)

The corners must be made with a radius of 12 mm. The frame overlap is 45 mm in width (33 mm in height).

The S4 hinged window comes pre-assembled with an outer and inner frame, as well as telescopic stays and secured window latches.

With the central one-hand operation, both roller blinds can be connected and locked in different positions.
