Dewalt Angle Grinder D28115 - TYPE 2 (2016)

Dewalt Angle Grinder D28115 - TYPE 2 (2016) is a high performance angle grinder. It is used to deliver industrial-grade power in compact form. The type 2 version came out in 2016 and the design is only different internally.

There are no major differences from earlier version externally. The big difference between type 1 and 2 is there are safer measures and faster and better motor components.

Its primary use is metal cutting and grinding, removing rust and paint, and construction work. The compact design and low-profile head make it ideal for tight spaces and it has a dust ejection system. It also has a 13 amp motor and high torque and speed (9000 rpm).

To find the correct device check the nameplate / rating label on the side or bottom of the grinders motor. It will provide the brand model number and type. It has yellow/black housing with molded vents. Also to double check if you got the right model the manual will have the model and type on the front.
