Background
The Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC 3830 is a personal digital assistant (PDA) that runs on the Windows Mobile interface. It was introduced by Compaq in April of 2000. It came with 64 MiB RAM, The iPAQ, a single SD slot, and SA-1110 CPU. It was borrowed from Compaq's earlier iPAQ Desktop Personal Computers. I has since been discontinued.
Identification
The device measures 8.1 cm × 13.3 cm and has a silver-colored case. A digitizer occupies the center of the Pocket PC, with a directional pad and four buttons below the screen. A black plastic panel at the top features the Compaq logo and contains the speaker, ambient light sensor, microphone, and power button.
Between the black panel and the screen, the iPAQ logo is printed on the upper-right edge, and Pocket PC is printed on the upper-left edge above the screen. The model and serial numbers are printed on a white label on the bottom of the device.
