Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO Repair

The Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro are wired over-ear open-back professional headphones, released in 2004. The headphones are designed for studio, monitoring, and sound engineering and comes in 80, 250, and 600 ohm variants. Beyerdynamic has released multiple revisions and version of the DT 990, including: Pro, Pro X, Studio, and Edition.

The DT 990 Pro is a studio icon, with a frequency response of 5 Hz to 35 kHz. The headphones are designed to be comfortable and long lasting, and is made in Germany. The cable is fixed on the headphones, and terminates in a 3.5 mm stereo plug. At 250 ohm and low SPL the headphones are hard to drive and may require a DAC in order to be used.

The DT 990 Pro has a slight bass bump, with an empathized treble, and clear mids.
