Now, onto my approach: I was annoyed by this verdict, so I took the device on myself.
First, I checked whether the power supply unit was still working. If it is, you can remove the replacement battery, plug in the power supply unit, and check if the laptop starts :-( It didn't for me. Then I kept looking. After I had removed the lower case and checked the contents, I noticed that the laptop was very clean for its age. Very little dirt on the cooling fan, nothing else. Furthermore, I noticed that no BIOS battery was visible, so I kept unscrewing until the motherboard was in front of me. On the top side, to the left of the touchpad from the laptop's perspective, a CR2032 is installed. Briefly measured it while installed. It showed 0.0... V DC instead of a voltage of approx. 3 V DC. I installed a new one, connected the keyboard, an external monitor, and the power supply unit, and the laptop started. Subsequently, I reassembled everything in reverse order and, behold, the device runs perfectly. Of course, still configure the necessary BIOS settings. Material costs for the whole thing approx. €1
