Background and Identification
The 1997 Acura 3.2 TL is a six cylinder first generation Acura TL. It is equipped with a V6 engine and is manufacture in Japan. The first generation TLs were only sold for 3 years until Acura released their second generation of TLs. This 1997 Acura TL can be distinguished from its newer counterparts by the different front grille. The older models have no line across the middle where as from 2000 on there is one silver bar across the center of the grille. The only option on the newer TL is CD based navigation, where as the older models like this 1997 have a cassette navigation in addition to their CD player.
