This is not a normal failure it sounds like you lost your BIOS configuration to restore this you would need the specialized tools to read a bios chip as well and the software to configure and flash it. depending on the setup this can run you from the low 200$ to the 2000$ range its honestly more cost effective to send your laptop in to a specialized shop and have them diagnose and reflash it. if you happed to unplug the screen its an easy fix. most shops charge around 250 for bios repairs plus shipping your looking at roughly the same cost 300-400$. you can check your cables and make sure you didnt tear or unplug a screen cable but its sounds like corrupt bios.

@elverdeoro see if you still have access to the BIOS according to the Lenovo instructions:

  • Turn off your laptop all the way.
  • Find the small Novo button on the side edge (it has a tiny curved arrow icon next to it).
  • Push the Novo button using a straightened paperclip or pin while the laptop is off.
  • Choose BIOS Setup from the small menu that appears on the screen
  • Once inside the BIOS utility screen, look at the bottom or top menu bars for the option to Load Default Settings (usually mapped to the F9 key, or found under the Exit or Restart tab).
  • Press F9 (or select Load Default Settings) and press Enter to confirm.
  • Press F10 to Save and Exit the BIOS. The laptop will restart automatically.

If you have no luck with that, then disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from your computer. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. Disconnect the battery (check the manual). Now hold the power button depressed for about 30sec-1min. Reapply the AC power adapter and see if your computer does show any sign of life.

To check your screen (to verify if you "messed it up" connect an external monitor via the HDMI port and press F10 (FN + F10) to see if you have video output.

To work on your Ideapad use the Hardware Maintenance Manual Ideapad 110S 11IBR
