My tablet touch isn't working without any cracks

A few quick things we can try first:

1. Restart the tablet (hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds until it force-restarts). Sounds too simple, but touch drivers glitching out is a real thing and a reboot fixes it more often than you'd think.
2. Try opening an app and swiping/tapping across different areas, top, bottom, sides, center. If only certain zones don't respond, that points more toward a digitizer or connector issue rather than software.
3. Clean the screen with a dry microfiber cloth. Sounds dumb, but a thin layer of grime or moisture can mess with touch sensitivity, especially on cheaper capacitive screens like this one.
4. Try Safe Mode (power menu → long-press "Power off" → OK to reboot into Safe Mode). If touch works fine in Safe Mode, it's a software/app conflict, not hardware.
5. Check for a case or screen protector issue. If you're using one, take it off temporarily. Sometimes a protector that's lifted at the edge, or a case pressing near the bezel, can interfere with the digitizer.

If none of this gives any result, there might be an internal issue and that isn't worth paying to have fixed unless there is essential data on your tablet.
