Hi @emeliemaisner
It could be a faulty charger or a faulty DC-In charging jack in the laptop.
What is the full model number of the laptop as shown on the product information label on the bottom of the laptop?
Asking as there's a few different models and they all don't have the same type of charging jack.
Initially, use a DMM (digital multimeter) and check if there's 20V DC measured on the output plug of the charger to check if it is OK and not that it is the cause of the problem i.e. not charging the battery due to faulty charger.
Hi @emeliemaisner
Thank you for the model number.
The DC-In jack (example only to show part), if that is the problem, is soldered onto the motherboard.
If it is the problem then the board would have to be removed and the original jack unsoldered from the board and the replacement soldered back in its place.
Here's a video just to show what is involved.
It may not be the jack that is faulty but what can happen is that the jack fails internally and this opens the power path between the charger and the motherboard so that battery can't be charged or the laptop powered. This would have to be checked first to see if it is the problem
If trying to test or replace it yourself seems too daunting, contact a reputable laptop repair service and ask for a quote.

Hi @emeliemaisner
Does the laptop indicate that the battery is being charged when a known working, compatible charger is connected to the laptop?

There was lights indicating Charing when it was still turning on but there no lights or anything else when it's plugged in now
