Can't find the backlight fuse!

I purchased a M49514-601 motherboard to replace the old dual core version of the HP 255 G8 series. Come to find out, the screen works (when you shine a light directly on it) but the backlight does not activate. I've tried multiple screens and verified with two other motherboards and found the issue to be on this board. I can use the HDMI with an external screen but that makes it a desktop and not a laptop. Does anyone know where the fuse is located for this particular board for the backlight? I cannot find a schematic for this model anywhere, paid or otherwise. I'm not afraid to cannibalize one of 4 other 255 G8 boards for another fuse if need be. Google and Youtube have not helped. Apparently it’s supposed to be near the lcd 30 pin connector on either the front or back of the board.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@fixinitagain post some well-focused pictures of both sides of the motherboard with your question. Let's see what you got going on here Adding images to an existing question

M49514-601 is the part number. The motherboard is a LA-L021P and looks like schematics etc. are unavailable. We will need to determine if there is a board that has the same essential layout so we can try and narrow it down.

@oldturkey03 the 250 series (intel) should be nearly identical but I've not had any luck finding schematics for those either.

@fixinitagain without schematic it is going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Looks like your motherboard still has reference designators. Fuse usually start with an F i.e. F4000 etc. In your case see if you have components marked as something like PF or LF. If so, take some pictures of the general area where it is located. Also, check the backside of the board. Commonly the fuses are near the display connector.
