How to set the service station timing?

I have several of these printers that have been disassembled. The service station gear was replaced however the timing on the assembly appears to be off. Is there a procedure for setting the timing? When the printer is turned on, the clutch gear gets stripped attempting to move the printhead cleaning mechanism.
