Using bios-pw.org (For Emergency/Out-of-Warranty)
- Get System ID: On the locked Latitude 7280, enter incorrect passwords until you see a padlock icon and an 11-character system number.
- Visit Site: On another device, go to https://bios-pw.org/
- Enter ID: Type the 11-character system number into the website and click "get password".
- Find the Code: Use the second code provided (labeled "Dell from serial number").
- Enter Manually: Manually type this code into the locked laptop's prompt to unlock it.
