Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the Xbox Series S, Microsoft's newest small form factor, digital-only gaming console. The Xbox Series S was released alongside its more powerful big brother, the Xbox Series X, on November 10th, 2020.

Why can't I see the screen?

I was gonna play games and check for updates when my screen remained black, no "no signal detected" no error or anything, just black. and when I turned it off and on, check for dust, and see if the hdmi was either loose or broken, nothing was not doing anything to let me see. and when I had my headset on, only the headset can pick up the sound, so I can't see or hear the game. can anyone help me?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

This could be a broken solder joint on the HDMI port or a failed in line component. I recommend sending in your xbox to have the HDMI port changed, as this is an especially difficult task for a first timer or someone not well equipped for the job.
