I snagged my headset cable and almost tripped over it, the cable is fine, other then the usb broke in my pc at 90 degree angle, it worked for a while and then it eventually stopped, is it hard to replace the USB would a regular usb replacment work or do I need a special one?

Assuming you can't repair the damaged cable, which MIGHT be possible, this guide should sort you out. Just get another USB cable and follow the steps to solder it (after cutting off the unnecessary end, stripping and tinning the wires) just follow the instructions to attach a new one as opposed to reattaching the old one as the guide was originally intended to do.

@nige56 no for the headset my pc us fine, the usb end basically completely broke off my headset.
