Repair information for the HP 600 laptop series.

My laptop won't charge

I have two HP laptops. One of them won't charge using the same charger. If I charge the battery on the first one and place it in the second laptop work fine. I disassembled it and checked for the DC power jack, and it worked perfectly. Any ideas about what could be the problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you tested that the battery of the non-charging laptop works? If not, try putting that battery in the laptop that won't charge and see if you get the same issue.

@havynkrentz battery works perfectly. I guess there's some problem in the motherboard. Everything works as it should, except it won't charge.

Hi @anwar29099

Here are the motherboard schematics that should help.

Go to p.8 and following the DCIN path from pin 1 of the DC-IN cable connector on the motherboard to see how far you get. Also check that the circuits connected to the other pins i.e. 3,4 &5 are also OK
