headphones won't connect

My beats headphones randomly stopped working 2 days ago and refuse to connect to anything, they were working perfectly fine until I left them to charge and now they just won't connect

The lights are constantly on and I am unable to turn them off and if I press the volume down button it starts flashing red and attempts to connect to my phone but ultimately fails

Are they still charging? Like when you plug it in does it have any indication (LED for example) that its charging maybe the port is faulty or dirty with debris stuck in it
