Laptop isn't powering on.

i was using my laptop usb to power a 5v motor and unfortunately both the +ve & -ve wire touched with each other. now when I am turning it on only the power button lights up for 5 secs and the laptop isn't turning on. i have done all the battery removing and static charge things but nothing is working.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@vatsc007 sounds like you have shortened out some components on your power rail. We would need to know the exact model of our motherboard. It'll be printed on the board, usually on the side that faces the keyboard. To work on your motherboard removal etc., use the Maintenance And Service Guide guide. Once you have your board removed, take some good pictures (well focused and large enough to review the components) and post those with our Question. That way we can see what you see.
