Receiver's voice is echoed.

When I call somebody the receiver's voice is echoed, I do not understand why this is happening? Please help.

If phone is under warranty, see if it can be serviced or repaired. If using speakerphone, echoing may be an electronics issue that can't be fixed at home. If echo occurs talking without speakerphone, the same issue may be with electronics.
