hello, try to remove security from your network then log in (you should connect) and whether or not has any update available for your android ver. .Also, try changing the authentication method

Check to see if WiFi is turned on? And also if the router is connected and functional.

I try to turn WiFi on - it resists, then says, "turning wifi on" - never changes after that. Router is good.
