wjsr4160g2ww: Washer wont spin or agitate.

Washer will not spin or agitate. Will go through cycle and only fill/drain. You can hear a solenoid click like it wants to go into a spin or agitate part of the cycle, but nothing happens. The motor light was flashing on and off for one second indicating a normal standby mode. The belt was fully intact. I saw a similar post to this one indicating that it was a bad transmission. I just want to confirm that this is the same issue before I scrap the washer.
