I replaced the batteries in the remote, but I believe the issue is internal, as it happens still when using the TV power button. ⏎

I've done all the "quick fix" ideas online, including a hard reset via unplugging and holding the power button on the device.

If left plugged in, it will repeat the title constantly. Never staying on with just the backlight and no picture. Turns off before I can try for sound

Update:

I have managed to get it to turn on and STAY on, (not sure how, but I used the remote). I have no picture, backlight is on, but I CAN hear audio. I tried connecting to the TV via the Smartthings app, and heard the "ding" that it was trying. Just cant see the code to connect.
