Before I buy a new battery I wanted to make sure the charger was working. When I plug it in the green light on top comes on but as soon as I put the room a on it the green light goes off and stays off until I unplug the charger and plug it back in. Is this a issue with the charger or a safeguard because the battery is worthless now?

The motor and everything else runs fine. It looks like the impeller is just press fit on the motor shaft but before I go prying at the plastic, I was hoping someone could tell me if they’ve had any success replacing or removing one and a truck to keep if from cracking when I pry it off. I have a replacement dust bin I got on eBay with a good impeller ready to swap. Thanks.
