i did not realize that the unit had to have a battery. mine ran down and i ordered a new battery. i have also replaced all brushes and brush guard. when the new battery came in, i charged it for 2 days. it will not charge.

i also have a 690 unit and have used the charger for the 677 and it does charge so i know that the charging unit is not the problem. it lights up when i try to charge the 677 unit.

i ordered a second new battery. let it charge for 2 days and it still will not charge. contacts are clean and look new. i am an older woman and have to use my ibots to clean. i can not afford a new one and roomba website is useless to help me. please tell me what can possibly be wrong.
