Roomba 600 series. Replaced battery and when docked in charging station the light is green for a few seconds then goes out.

My Roomba 600 series was not sucucking up dirt so took it apart carefully and found an but of a clog of dustbunny/hair, while cleaning out the suction part of the fan in opening it after removing the 7 screws a spring popped out and I have no idea where it sits.
