iRobot Roomba 4210: Roomba - New battery still won’t charge but glows red

I have a roomba discovery 4210. And a broken Roomba 4000. My discovery works fine. But needed a new battery. I ordered one. The battery will not charge in the discovery. I can charge the battery in the broken roomba by home base or directly to the machine. Then transfer it to the discovery and it will vacuum for a couple hours. When it’s discharged, I put it back in the broken Roomba to charge again. BECAUSE When I try to charge the battery in the discovery on the home base, the power button flashes red that the connection is made and it’s charging, but I can sit there for days and not charge. And if I plug the charger directly into the machine, same thing. It will glow red like it’s charging but it never actually charges. How can I get my discovery to actually charge the battery so I don’t have to keep switching the battery from different machines?
