Hey! I don’t know if anyone is still here but I need help, so I recently brought an iPod touch because I could not fit all the music on my iPhone and my iPod screen stoped responding? The screen isn’t broken it’s perfectly fine I’ve reset once and it still won’t work? And I just got a new screen protector on it about a week ago? Does anyone know what the problem could be? The screen isn’t responding to me at all :-/ it dosent sense my fingertips either

iPod Touch 7th Generation: Backlight works, no image

I just replaced the cracked screen on an iPod i bought on ebay but I can’t get anything to display on iTunes. The backlight turns on but no image appears, the same thing happens when I reconnect the old screen onto the iPod. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

So my friend and I are working on fixing this iPod touch 7 that we ordered on eBay. The screen is obviously smashed and it’s missing a home button but it seems like the home button part has been exactly the same for a few generations on the iPod’s now. Can I use a 5th gen home button to repair a 7th gen one? and can anyone tell if the ribbon cable for the button is still there? Thanks! Also the seller said the camera was missing but as far as I can see it’s still in there. I attached some pictures of it but this is my first post so I’m not sure if I did it right…
