I used to be able to see my neighbors wifi network but now i cant. I cant see my own too. Ive got complete no sign of internet. My other family members can connect like normal. Ive searched for so many answers ( going near the router, turning off my main wifi thing and switching it on shutting down my device, taking off my case, updating my device and etc ) none of these work. Is it my device or the network? Even if none please give me an answer. Im close to giving up.

iPod Touch 5th Generation: iPod touch 5th Gen Tristar Diode Test Values

Hi All,

Is anybody able to provide me with a good set of diode test values for the dock connector of the iPod touch 5th generation for testing the Tristar 1608A1 IC?

I bought the iPod as part of a job lot of broken iPod’s and found that charging the battery outside of the iPod and reinstalling it allows the iPod to boot

The unit will not connect to iTunes or charge.

I’m fairly sure the issue is Tristar but would like to test the resistances of the Tristar IC on the dock connector pins first. I do seem to be getting 5V on the dock connector pads on the logic board so i’m fairly confident the dock is working.

Tristar Test Board I have ordered:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/iphone-lightn...

I own an iPod touch 7th Generation I may be able to take measurements from but I don’t think the charging circuits in these devices are going to be comparable.

Kind Regards,

iPod Touch 5th Generation: iPod Touch won't turn on anymore

Im not too savvy on Apple products so maybe I could get some assistance. A few years ago I bought a Ipod Touch 5th Generation 32 GB from Amazon through the Apple store. It was a gift for my younger sister. It was fine and worked perfectly and lasted about 2 or so years but lately it won't turn on. The Power button located on top also seems to be stuck and won't return to it's upward spot. Not really sure if it's a dead battery or is it a malfunctioned device. Is this something I should take to an Apple Store or to one of those small 3rd parties screen repair shops? any information will be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
