I can't figure out how to separate it from the old casing, and fixit doesn't seem to have a guide for this. Can anyone tell me how to take it off?

Edit: This thing right here. I've tried everything I can, but I just can't figure out how to remove it.

iPod Touch 5th Generation: My iPod 5th gen will not charge

My Ipod will not charge! Yesterday it was charging just fine then later that day it suddenly would not charge. It's not the cable because I tried two different cables including one I just bought a few days ago. I also tried resetting it holding the home and power buttons but that did not work. I also tried using several different sources I tried all three of my wall chargers, I tried my laptop, my computer, my other computer, my ps3, and my ps4 but nothing I try will work! I also tried cleaning the inside of my ipod port thinking that it could just be lint and dirt in there but that didn't work either. Any other advice without me spending money would be very helpful.

iPod Touch 5th Generation: Can an iPod touch 6th gen battery be used in a 5th gen?

Curious as to if a 6th generation iPod touch battery will work in a 5th generation iPod touch. I know the 5th won't work in a 6th because the 5th is taller. A 6th will fit in a 5th, but I don't know if it will work. My guess is that it will, but I'd like a for sure answer before soldering it in.

iPod Touch 5th Generation: Forgot the apple id, password, and related email. How to reset iPod?

My 7yr old niece got an ipod for her birthday last year. She somehow created an icloud account but then completely forgot it, the password and the email address she associated the account with. I’ve been trying to look for the receipt but so far I haven’t been able to find it. I called apple support and they advised that the only only ways to reset the icloud account is by either providing them with the icloud account address or proof of purchase.

Is there any way to remove the existing icloud account when the icloud information isn’t known? I’ve tried restoring the ipod with itunes but the previous account comes back up and asks for the password.

iPod Touch 5th Generation: Can I move my disabled iPod's logic board to a new iPod

So i have an old ipod touch gen 5 that ive had disabled for roughly 2 or 3 years because i forgot the password and since im not smart i kept trying till it was disabled. I dont think ive done a backup on it so i dont wanna use itunes to unlock it as id lose all the data that im trying to recover in the first place. So i was wondering, since my sister also has a gen 5, could i get somebody to take out the board on my ipod and put it in hers? If so, would the ipod still be disabled or would i be able to enter it again? All i want are my files cause they have serious emotional value to me. So in the case it works id just move all the files from the ipod into my computer and call it a day, thanks a lot in advance :D
