iPod Touch 2nd Generation: My iPod Touch had a kernel panic, and now is completely FROZEN!

I recently got a lot of Apple iPods (3 of which are iPod touch 2nd Generation)

This one specifically is my weirdest case, No Water Damage, Cracks, or dents. Just a scuffed up 8GB iPod Touch 2nd Gen

The times I powered it up, it had a kernel panic. And with the last time I've done such, it now doesn't want to turn on anymore

I have a 2nd generation MC, the MC only comes in 8GB, and when I selected iPod in This PC, it said “Internal Storage, 6.45GB free out out 13.6GB”?! It said it was a 16GB!
iPod Touch 2nd Generation: touch screen not working after battery replacement

I replaced the battery in my iPod 2nd generation. The digitizer stopped working. Powers up but will not respond to touch. Im unsure what to do to fix it. Will start looking into checking all the components next. Is there somewhere I should concentrate my efforts on? Im sure I discharged myself before doing the work but all I can think of is maybe I somehow fried a chip in the process.

iPod Touch 2nd Generation: iPod touch 2nd Gen restoration

Hello Community :)

I plan on restoring back to life my old ipod touch 2nd gen how do I go about this process . I know I need replacement parts I would rather pay someone to do all the work to be honest . The issues with my ipod touch 2nd gen are cracked screen , audio jack didn't work the last time it was functional , the sleep/wake button seems jammed and the volume button . It also needs a new battery . I know it seems useless to try to repair this ipod touch being that it's so old but I would like to repair it for the sentimental value and what remains of the software inside . Can anybody recommend me a place where I can send it to get fixed I don't have all the components to fix it myself .
