iPod Shuffle 3rd Generation: iPod Keep on asking for restore when connected to PC.

Hi,

I have one iPod shuffle 3rd generation 2GB variant. When i connect my iPod to PC, it is asking for restore. It is giving error " iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes". Then i tried to restore it to factory settings. It is showing restore done. But after restore also it is giving the same error. I am not able to sync music with my iPod.

iPod Shuffle 3rd Generation: earpods to fit iPod shuffle 3g

my iPod shuffle ear-pods got broken and apple want £25 to replace them. I have tried different ear pods but although you can hear through them you cannot adjust the volume. Are there any cheaper ear pods that are compatible with the shuffle 3g?

iPod Shuffle 3rd Generation: How do I fix my earphones?

My earphones don't work sometimes. When I turn it on, the small light near the earphone jack turns green and then orange. When it does that, the earphones don't work. When I turn it on and the green light only turns green then that is when the earphones function well.

iPod shuffle 3rd Generation: How does this tiny piece fit back into the control switch?

Not knowing the play/pause/volume control was part of the earphone wiring and therefore not noticing that it was stuck to the packaging tape, the control's casing came apart when I took the tape off the packaging. A tiny strip of metal fell out and it seems to control the volume. (I was able to easily snap the 2 halves of the casing back together and the center button that forwards, etc still works)The very thin strip of metal is a little less in length than the inside of the control and about half the width, with one piece of metal about 1/16" square on each long side bent at a 90% angle. I suspect it fits inside the control switch somehow. Can I fix it myself? Is there a picture available of the inside of this switch?
