Hi - I have an iPod nano 6th gen that was working but had a bad battery. I replaced the battery but when testing the screen now all I'm getting is a blank white screen. Weird because I wasn't having any issues with the screen before. I tried holding down the power button and volume down button, but didn't have any success, still only powers to a white screen. Thanks in advance for any help!

iPod Nano 6th Generation: Computer does not identify photos on iPod nano

Hello! I have some photos on my iPod Nano that I would like to download to my 2021 MacBook. When I plug it into my computer, however, the 203 songs that are on the iPod Nano appear in the Finder window of my MacBook, but it doesn't detect the 513 photos that are stored on it anywhere. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Is this an issue that could be solved with software or physical fixing?

iPod Nano 6th Generation: iPod wont turn on after in washing machine

The other day I left my iPod in my pocket when I put it in the washing machine, I found it a day later stone cold in the pocket and tried turning it on in hopes it still worked, however all I got was a black screen. I left It a couple of days and put it on charge and after about 1hr tried turning it back on again, the Apple logo came up for about 1/4 of a second and then disappeared. Since then it's not even done that. Is there something I can do to fix or a part I could replace or is it worth just buying a new one?

iPod Nano 6th Generation: Any software way to increase my iPod's volume?

I have an iPod Nano 6th Generation and it had been working perfectly fine, but one day suddenly my up volume button got stuck. That button cant be pressed as it has gone down completely. I searched a lot and it seems to be a common problem that the buttons stuck and also i got a useful link here but i do not want to open up my ipod on my own. Is there some way through software by which i can increase my volume?? I tried restoring my ipod but even that does not increase my volume to the full. I just want a software solution through which i can increase my volume up to the full.

Thank you in advance.

iPod Nano 6th Generation: Why does my Nano keep turning itself off?

I have the 6th generation Nano, and it keeps turning itself off after playing music for about 2 minutes. Battery shows it's charged and good to go. I turn it back on and resume the song that was playing and it goes for about 2 minutes and turns off again. I have looked on Apple's website and others for answer to this problem but have not seen any questions pertaining to this problem. Any ideas?

iPod Nano 6th Generation: iPod not turning on

So, I’ve picked up this ipod on the road, and I’ve had it for like a year (it was used obviously). The screen was dead (backlight still visible, probably internal damage), the + volume button didnt work, so I plugged it in. It connected, and I could swipe around, and still listen to music.

Until like 2 months ago, the connecting wire from the screen was dead. I still could use it but had to use the headphone buttons now. And then, it stopped. I restarted it, and it still starts up like normal. But when I plug it into my PC, it doesnt connect. You can still plug it in and charge it. And when i press the power/sleep button thing, I cant control my songs with my headphones, and nothing was responding. When I restarted it, I can control it now, but when i press the sleep button, it goes unresponsive.

When im listening to a song, and it goes to sleep or the screen turns off, the song still plays, but when its done, the ipod just stops

Can i still fix this??

iPod Nano 6th Generation: Does not yurn on. Possibly Bricked

Hi, so I had this iPod for a while, it was working great today, but then I needed to send something to it from iTunes, but only the old versions from 2012 work with it, so this is what I used. It was fine, however, when synchronising it seemed to switch from the message “step 1 out of 2” to “do not unplug”. The iPod did not show the synchronisation symbol. So I decided to reset it/ The update downloaded just fine, but after unpacking it gave me an error and so I had to unplug the iPod. Trying this again I plugged it back in, BUT IT DID NOT TURN ON, AND MY DUMBASS did not check if it happened before the update or after.

Now when I plug it into the PC it says that the device is unrecognized. The iPod itself shows no signs of life.

I tried pressing the “power - “. “power +” and all button combinations, but nothing happens.

It is fully charged and will defiantly hold it for a few days, so it is not a battery issue. I will wait for it to die, maybe this will fix it.

If it is bricked because of the faulty update, is there anything that can be done, or is it just dead now? Or maybe there is nothing wrong and it just lagged?
