iPhone 6s Plus: Are ifixit replacement batteries better then say battery from eBay?

I really don’t mind paying extra for a better product. However, I can’t tell if these batteries are actually better quality or pretty much the same as eBay batteries with a fancier packaging.

Where are the battery sourced from and what guarantees that I have the battery will perform better then say batteries on eBay/Amazon that are sell for like $15?

Reason I’m not going to Apple is because it’s very inconvenient for me.

but my case is if I have a working 32gb nand and I want to upgrade 256gb nand. Can i clone the contents of 32gb to the other memory? Would that work? Because i dont want to hit ios 15 because theres no jb for that version

iPhone 6s Plus: Phone stuck on bootloop

Tried restoring/updating with iTunes and 3uTools with latest ios.

On 3uTools trying to "Fix Flash", it stops at 34%, on the "Updating NAND Firmware", after the phone shows the Apple logo and the update progress bar, then it hangs for a minute then reboot and returns to restore mode.

The battery was replaced 5-6 years ago, can this be battery related or a NAND failure?

Noticed that from uTools, if I launch a standard "Quick Flash" the phone reboot and goes back to restore mode after the "Sending KernelCache".

If I use the "Fix Flash" mode, it reaches the "Updating NAND Firmware" before going back into restore mode after 1 minute and no visible progress on the bar.

iPhone 6s Plus: Recently replaced battery, top right of phone is getting warm

Hi, I recently replaced the battery in my iPhone 6s Plus. The battery works fine so far after a little testing, but the top right of the phone (what I presume is around the area where the screen cables connect) is getting pretty warm after about 5 seconds of use. I'm just wondering what it could be and if I need to replace the logic board. The home button, digitizer, and camera all work fine.

iPhone 6s Plus: How to turn off phone without screen? I do NOT want to restart.

My boss wants me to turn off his iPhone. His screen is broken, so he cannot slide the slider to do so. A hard reset or restarting does not fix the problem. I do not know why he wants it turned off or why that matters, but that is what I need to be possible. Is there any way to do this without just draining the battery all of the way? I don't need to reboot, and I don't need to do a hard reset, I need to do a hard reset, I need the phone to turn off and then not turn back on afterward. I saw a suggestion online saying to hold the home and power button and let go right when it turns black, but this does not seem to work, as the phone still restarts.

iPhone 6s Plus: Random slowdowns and battery drain

Hello,

I've got an iPhone 6s Plus that's playing up. I replaced the battery on it a while ago after the original failed (was draining too fast even when deep sleeping). I went with the battery sold by Replace Base in the UK. It seemed like they would sell decent replacement batteries.

Unfortunately, while the fast draining on idle has stopped, the phone has other problems now. It will randomly start lagging badly when trying to use it. You can barely tap anything when the lag happens. I used an app to check CPU usage and I see it's pegged at 100%. Battery starts draining rapidly as well.

It could go days without having this issue. It just comes on suddenly and when it does, it makes the phone unusable. You have to connect it to a charger to get the lag to disappear.

The battery seemed fine at 1st, then after maybe a few months this issue began.

Is this a bad battery? I've also noticed that when the phone 1st boots from a no power state, I'll see really low percentage (like 2-4%). After a few seconds, it'll jump to a higher value. It did this from the start, but I ignored it because the phone appeared to be working fine.

This looks like a case of a bad battery to me, but just making sure. If it is a bad battery, does anyone know of a seller that sells quality batteries that don't have problems? I've tried 2 replacement batteries so far and both have had issues. The 1st caused the phone to reboot all the time. The 2nd (the Replace Base one) has the issues I've described in this post.

iPhone 6s Plus: Phone is restarting, new battery installed twice.

My iPhone 6s Plus is randomly crashing and restarting, it seems to be worse when the battery is charged, and is horrible when charging. When the battery is low or actually stays on for a bit, up to 2 minutes when the battery is below 20 percent. At 100 percent it's crashing constantly often not making it long enough to enter the password fully. When it's about say 80 percent and plugged in it is crashing long before the password screen while the apple logo is still on the screen. Have taken it to a couple repair places and I've had the battery replaced once, it didn't fix anything, I replaced the battery again myself and that didn't fix anything. I've noticed that if I put it in the freezer it will power on and run till it warms back up. It's not overheating, seems like a high voltage issue or something? Is there a voltage regulator that I can replace? I have a panic log in was able to download a few months ago before the problem became so bad I can't keep it on long enough to do anything. I'm at a loss here and I need to get this phone fixed.

iPhone 6s Plus: Why does my glass screen protector keep cracking?

I don’t drop my phone and anytime I have dropped it the screen protector remained unchanged. I’ll put it in my pocket and take it out and there will be a new crack even though there was nothing other than headphones in my pocket. This started happening recently and it’s the winter in New York right now. Perhaps it is the temperature change but I was just using my phone and a little piece of glass came off. I’ve had this for about a year now should I get a new screen protector?

iPhone 6s Plus: iPhone won't charge and keeps restarting, it won't even die.

I'm completely stumped by this.

Last night, I dropped my phone (protected by a case) but my charger broke. I have a spare one that I decided to use but I woke up this morning and it was at the same percentage, 6%. Now it's completely stuck at 2%. The phone keeps restarting every few minutes, if it goes to 1% it'll jump back to 2 after it restarts. It seems I can't let it die at this point which is weird.

I had the battery replaced a couple of weeks ago, so it's brand new. Could it be the charger? But if so, why is it keep restarting?

Many thanks to anyone who can help or give some insight.

iPhone 6s Plus: Touch Screen Isn't Working

Hello everyone!

I have a serious problem with my girlfriends iPhone 6S Plus,

I will try to be short and informative as much as I can so I wont make you tired reading this topic.

She got a certified refurbished iPhone 6S Plus from Amazon and the battery was messed up, I decided to buy her a new one and put it on ( iFixit) her screen once she told me stoped working for about 10 minutes and than start working again, just for reference,

so after the repair the touchscreen stoped working permanently, not just for 10 minutes but for ever.

Let me make sure that I have changed in the past many iPhone Batteries so I have a lot of experience doing that,

Before I took the screen off I took off the old battery than I got the screen for no more than 90 degrees radius and start taking off the connectors using my tools safely,

putting them back in and changing the battery I realized that there were no touch at all to the phone,

I assumed that the screen its probably messed up so I literally bought a new screen unit which arrived just today ( iFixit ) and the screen is still not working,

Cleaned the connectors and the logic board with Isopropyl alcohol 97% Clean

and safely dried it, realized that its still not working,

I am so sad and desperate about the situation with the phone right now and I need your help, I truly need someones help, I can provide detailed pictures from the logic boards condition in case someone needs them to get an idea.

Thank you so much for your time and help.
