iPhone 5s: I forgot my passcode, how do I remove it?

I forgot the passcode for my iPhone 5s, I tried entering the passcode multiple times and it says "iPhone is disabled Connect to iTunes".

Now I am locked out. How can I regain access?

Whenever I unlock my phone, it goes crazy. It starts having a spazz attack and clicks on random stuff by itself. For example, I will go to my messages to try to text someone and it will just start clicking on letters and buttons out of no wheres, causing me take 20 minutes just to send a simple message. I have no control over it and it is really annoying. This started happening after I went in the store to get my cracked screen replaced.

iPhone 5s: Restore error 9 and 14 after fixing iPhone screen. What to do?

My iPhone 5s screen cracked, so I replaced the screen. When I replaced the screen the battery wouldn't charge, so I turned the phone off. When I turned it back on again, it was stuck on the Apple logo. I then restored it—but in the middle of the restore, the phone stopped working. Now the phone is stuck on the "connect to iTunes" error and when I try to restore it, I get mostly error 9. I tried all my computers (2 Macs, and a PC) and all the USB hubs that they have. What do I do? Thanks.

Since the screen was a third party, all I did was was restore the iPhone with the screen disconnected. Once it shows that the restore finished on my computer, I reconnected the screen and finished the setup.

I work on iPhones often. With this one, I opened it and replaced the screen. Before I closed it up, I tried to turn it on, but it would not turn on. I also tried to plug it in, and it repeatedly made the charging sound.

i did the factory reset on my iphone 5s, its got a broken home button.

i am stuck at the hello screen, where it ask me to press the home button.

Anyone got a work around. I can order a home button, but it will take a couple of days.

iPhone 5s: Apple logo then blue screen

After I did the latest update on my iPhone 5S it will not reboot. It goes to an apple logo then a blue screen and back to the apple logo. The phone is stuck like this. I've tries restoring it and everything nothing's working.

Hello, I've got a customers iPhone 5 bought in for a screen & battery replacement which won't turn on at all. It wouldn't turn on even BEFORE I attempted to repair anything.

She states that it was working with poor battery life before she gave it to me. I trust her.

I did the usual, Hard Reset, Removing & Replacing the battery, trying with a different screen. However the phone doesn't respond to anything, I don't feel any vibrations with the mute switch.

Usually when it comes to this I remove the battery and plug in the phone, this usually flashes the Apple logo, however it won't work this time.

Is removing the battery a valid test? Could replacing the battery still work? ( I don't have stock at the moment, it's coming next week)

Any other ideas?

iPhone 5s: Back Camera and LED/Flash not working, Wifi is extremely weak.

When I open the camera app, front camera works fine but when I switch to the back camera the display goes black. In the top left corner it shows the following message, "Flash is Disabled - The iPhone needs to cool down before you can use the flash." But the phones temperature feels normal. Also the Wifi signal is very weak and it doesn't pick up all the networks around me. I need to sit right next to the router in order to pick up Wifi and connect, but even then, the signal is still very slow. I bought another 5s (with a working camera) for parts and I put the new camera and LED into my phone, but its still showing the same messages. And I also put in a new Power/Volume ribbon cable in order to fix the Wifi. I had a problem with my power button but it was fixed after that swap, but the Wifi, back Camera and LED problems still persist. At this point I'm starting to think that the problem is in the logic-board but I'm not 100% sure. Please let me know the easiest possible fix for this, whether its replacing the logic-board or replacing the components on the logic board. Thank you in advance for your answers!

iPhone 5s: Broken Screen replacement, half the screen doesn't work, it has lines

I dropped my iPhone 5s and now half the screen has white thick lines going through it, I can't press over it, I can only use the right side of the screen. What should I buy to fix it? There must be a problem with LCD? Screen is not cracked though.

I have cracked my iPhone 5s screen. An iPhone 5 screen is a lot cheaper than a 5s screen. I know the home buttons are different, but I could care less about having touch-ID. So is it possible that I could put an iPhone 5 screen on a 5s?

iPhone 5s: iPhone 5S Stuck in recovery mode : iTunes restore error 50

Hi,

I bought an iPhone off eBay germany. It always gives the same restore error in iTunes :

"The iPhone [iPhone] could not be restored. An unknown error occurred [error 50]."

Anyone got a idea how to get the iPhone to work? I've tried 2 different computers with firewall off, different USB ports, different cables but keep getting this error at around 65% of the restore process.

I've tried restoring in the DFU mode too, still the same error pops up. I read somewhere it might be the Baseband IC which needs to be replaced. Would replacing the Qualcomm MDM9615M help?

Anyone who has had the same issue or knows about it? Kinldy help me out of this.

iPhone 5s: Why does my iPhone 5s have a red screen?

I recently changed my screen. After that, everything worked just fine. But when my phone died, I was trying to charge it, and a red screen showed up. The first time it happened, I fixed it. Then, I tried turning off the phone and it happened again, but I was able to fix it. The last time was the other night. My phone battery drained again so when I was trying to turn it back on, the red screen showed up and now sometimes a blue screen shows up too. I'm unable to fix it now. I tried removing the screen and putting it back on but it still shows the red screen.

iPhone 5s: iPhone stuck on red battery logo screen

My iphone died completely and turned off. So it's been 3 hours charging and it's not turning on, it's totally just stuck on the red battery logo screen. I was thinking about restarting it or put it in dfu mode, but there are two problems: 1) my home button isn't working, 2) it's turned off so it's not detectable to the pc

Anyone got any idea how to fix that?

Hello, recently I just dropped my iPhone 5s on the ground and the screen has developed these glitches. The touch screen and the touch id works just fine. There are no dead spots. Around two months ago I shattered the screen and I took it to a phone store that fixed it for me. So the screen isn't original, therefore they could have possibly not reassembled it correctly. Just wondering if anybody knows what could possible be the problem? So that if i purchase the tools to open up the phone myself that I could know what to look for and fix. Thank you!

iPhone 5s: Why dose screen seem to have white lines appearing in back ground

My screen seems to have faint white lines running top to bottom in the back ground of my screen. On occasion the screen will go black an than come back on its own. When it comes back it still seems to have the white lines? Does anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks for any help.

Hey there....

I have replaced the loudspeaker on an IPhone 5s...

The phone worked well before, the only problem was no sound.

Now it wont boot into IOS.. When i press the on/off button, it shows apple logo for 1 sec, and then screen goes black. But i can see that there are light in the screen (on the side when its not assempled),

If i try to start it by holding the on/off button, it shows the logo for 5-6 seconds and then goes black.

I have tried to go to recovery mode (or what it is called), but it wont let me.

Now i have replaced the bottom cable, with jack, charger and microphone on... Still nothing happens..

I have tried to connect a broken screen, but also with the same result.

The only thing i now believe it could be, is the battery. The first time i changed the part, i took the battery out. And when i was trying to boot the Iphone, i said that there was no power on, but the phone was fulle charged before i started.

Could it be a damaged battery??

Or is there someone that have an idea of what else could be wrong???
