iPhone 4: iPhone 4: no Wifi and only works for a minute on Docking System

Hallo everyone,

I have a iPhone 4 which battery got swollen up while it was in the Sony Audio Docking System (RDP-M5iP). I replaced it with the Tutorial on this website but now it only turns on when it is plugged into the docking station (only for a minute or so until it restarts). I tried to charge it with the standard charging cable but that did not work. It was not even visible on PC when I tried to make a Back Up. Next I tried to make a BackUp to ICloud while it is plugged into the cocking station but the Wifi does not turn on. To be more precise the wifi option was gray.

I really hope someone can help me with this problem.
Thank You in Advance

iPhone 4: View my hidden iCloud password?

My iCloud password is automatically populated when I try to log in. But. The password is hidden, as in the round radial dots, instead of visible characters. No problem, right? Wrong. It comes back telling me my password is incorrect. I can't see it. I can't remember it. I've tried IN ENDLESS VAIN to reset it. (That's a joke!). And I do not store/save passwords. So. How can I:

Change the necessary setting to make passwords visible instead of hidden? Or,

Change my Backup from iCloud to my Google (i.e) acct? Or,

Any other possible idea.

Main goal:

Backup (or copy) ALL existing data on the iPhone to ensure it will never be lost or erased as I am not using that cell anymore. (Or Apple products for that matter!)

iPhone 4: Boots, wont charge, stays stuck at 100% after battery flat flex repair

I have a iPhone 4 on which I managed to rip the battery flat flex cable. I removed the flat flex and connector altogether and soldered wires directly from the battery protection board to the logic board (I’m planning to get a new phone anyway and I was too lazy to do it properly and use the old connector). I tested it and it worked perfectly, I then proceeded to electrical tape it up and put it back in the phone. This is most likely where the problem occurred, I must have shorted something when putting the battery back in. The phone shows no signs of life until I plug it in, then it shows the flat but charging symbol for about 10 seconds and then proceeds to boot. The phone boots up all the way and shows between 94 and 100% on the battery indicator (the value is seemingly random every time I boot it up) but dies immediately when unplugged. If leave it plugged in it will occasionally reboot. I believe the problem is most likely the battery protection board, the cell measures 3.5 volts which is normal but the battery protection circuit is only outputting 1.2 volts to the phone. The circuit must be working to the extent that the phone can detect that there is a battery attached otherwise the phone would not boot. I am not 100% sure if this is a problem with the battery protection board or not, the low voltage may simply be due to it going into protection mode cuz the battery is almost flat. I was wondering if someone more experienced with iPhone battery issues than me could provide suggestions.

Thx

iPhone 4: Mystery chip in slimstack connector - smallest I've ever seen!

It's been a while since I did this iPhone 4(?) repair but going through some old photos I came across this super-closeup of a tiny chip that I wouldn't have even seen if it hadn't glimmered like a bit of loose micah. I don't remember if this was the connector for the screen or what, but I do know that the replacement part (are they ever oem?) didn't have it. I've never seen anything like it. It reflects rainbows like a cpu wafer and it's under glass, apparently. Anyway, didn't find anything on the internet anywhere, wonder if anyone has some info.
