iPhone 15 Pro Max: Screen keeps timing out (blacking out)

I have recently fixed an iPhone 15 pro max screen. I use a soft OLED panel with 120hz refresh rate. It's not an original Apple screen but, they are very good aftermarket OLED panels from a very well-known supplier. The customer called about the screen timing out or blacking out too soon and too often. The customer has to wake up the screen by tapping it.

Has any had a similar issue? Ultimately, Ill swap the screen but, I have not had this particular issue after a screen repair and wanted to get some input on what the issue may be.

iPhone 15 Pro Max: iPhone 15 Pro Max boot loop mystery

Hello everybody, I have a long story to tell you. In February 2024, I bought an iPhone 15 pro max 1 TB and used it for around 2 months, and then suddenly it stopped working during the night. I woke up to the iPhone that was boot looping. So after speaking with Apple, I ended up with a bricked iPhone, and Apple considers that this incident doesn’t fall under a limited warranty. I tried restoring it through Mac to no avail. Since I have experience with phone repair, I decided to give it a try. After opening it, everything seemed alright. One issue I noticed is that the NAND was making very disturbing sounds, so I sent it for repair to a reputable guy. He also assumed that the issue was the NAND and unfortunately, he only had a 512 NAND, so he used it, and unfortunately, it didn’t help at all. Then he tried changing the EEPROM since perhaps it was corrupted, and after finding a blank EEPROM, he soldered it, and again to no success. So after 2 months, the guy simply gave up on it and sent it back to me. I was planning to use it as a donor or just to sell it for parts. I still tried to turn it on and left it on the charger. And would you believe me, it simply turned on. I settled it up, and for the most part, it was perfect. Face ID was not working, and the front and rear cameras were just displaying black, and the flashlight completely lagged the phone out. So I figured maybe there’s an issue with the front camera, and indeed, after disconnecting Face ID and the front camera after restarting, the rear camera and flashlight were working. So I thought the issue was a camera assembly, but surprisingly, the phone didn’t give me any issues about Face ID, so I connected it to Mac again to restore it, and Mac told me that there’s an issue with this iPhone, and you have to update it to fix it. After doing that, the phone was working flawlessly. So I used it for around two weeks and decided to give it away to my friend. After I gave the phone to him, he tried transferring the eSIM to it, and the phone went black and restarted after that. Whenever you touched the screen after it restarted, it simply restarted. I tried restoring it, and it went back to boot looping. And it’s still in this state. I left it on the charger on the same cable and charger, and nope, a miracle did not happen this time. It was boot looping for a whole day.

My question is, what could be the cause of all this shenanigans and how it could simply turn on after an expert technician claimed that this phone would not work ever again? My guess is that during shipping it was tossed around and that could perhaps be what made it work again. But before putting it into a FedEx envelope and throwing it around my house, I want to ask you guys.

That’s what Mac gives me whenever I try to restore it through recovery mode:
