iPhone 14 Plus: iPhone 14 Plus AirDrop stuck on "Keep Holding Nearby to Share" despite animation triggering

My iPhone 14 Plus proximity AirDrop (NameDrop / Bringing Devices Together) is not working correctly. When I bring two iPhones together, the "glow" animation triggers, but it gets stuck on the message "AirDrop: Keep Holding Nearby to Share" and the transfer never completes.

Standard AirDrop (selecting the person's name from the share sheet) works perfectly fine.

Steps I have already tried:

1. Verified "Bringing Devices Together" is toggled ON in Settings.

2. Verified both phones have a "My Card" set up with Contact Posters.

3. Tried with cases removed to rule out magnetic/physical interference.

4. Performed a Force Restart on both devices.

5. Performed a Reset Network Settings.

6. Toggled Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and AirDrop off and back on.

7. Verified Date & Time are set to "Automatic" on both devices.

8. Tested the NFC hardware using the Shortcuts app automation "Scan" feature, and it does detect tags/devices.

Since the animation triggers but the handshake fails, is this likely a hardware issue with the Ultra Wideband (U1) chip/antenna, or is there a specific iCloud/software cache I haven't cleared yet? The phone has not had any recent repairs.

iPhone 14 Plus: Questions about 3rd party parts

I have an iPhone 14 plus and its kernel panicking from the back glass 0x4000000. i understand that this part is paired to the board because it handles important system data like the temperature and the kernel doesn't want to risk damage to the device so it panics. I have a working wireless coil that stops the panic, but its still attached to the shattered back. is it possible to swap the functioning OEM coil from the bad glass to the good condition glass that has the bad coil? whats the best way to do so? I thought about just buying a new back glass with the sensor but would that sensor work with the iPhone? 3rd party parts can't be paired, and if its not able to pair, wouldn't it still cause a panic because its a critical component? The kernel wouldn't trust this part and refuse to use it? if 3rd party wireless charging coils CAN be used without causing a panic, whats the best brand/store to get the part?

iPhone 14 Plus: iPhone 14 Plus i2c1 bus in bad state

iPhone 14 plus after being run over. New screen works without issue but the phone shuts off if you plug in a cable. New port same issue. I cant find much information on the components that talk on this i2c1 bus line so kind of lost what it might be. Wondering if anyone had information on this i2c line to continue checking.

iPhone 14 Plus: Front Camera Replacement Gone Wrong?

Hello to everyone i need an expert advice on this: I got a broken device from a fellow, clean from icloud and i bought it to repair it, and gift to my mom. Replaced screen , Rear Camera, Rear Glass (with OR Coil) no problems. Front camera was working but was a mess of an image. Face ID works fine. When i tried to replace the Front Camera with an new individual camera , the phone didnt recognise it. Switched back to original Camera , the phone didnt recognise it also! Face ID still works! Key Point is i had to carefully remove the original camera from the Assembly. But i cant get it to work... Any ideas? I have tried software update, reinstall from DFU, put the original rear camera back, check the connector under microscope. I keep thinking its something electrical, something doesnt make contact to ground etc. PS i would like to keep the FaceID function as its really handy for my mom. Thanks

iPhone 14 Plus: All audio has stopped working

First it has started with the loudspeaker not being functional but the top speaker was still loud. After a while I could not call people and use USSD codes at all. Eventually the top speaker got soft and all audio stopped working. I can’t even make a WhatsApp call because it just says call failed. I am suspecting that it is something to do with the audio ic or something along those lines. If anyone has any suggestions it would help

Thank you in advance

iPhone 14 Plus: iPhone 14 Plus Kernel panic recommendations

I have an iPhone 14 Plus that gives a kernel panic of 0x400000 wireless charging coil. There is no physical or water damage. The rear cameras and flash are not working but the wireless charging and mic on the flex work fine as well as everything else on the phone as far as I can tell. I have tried replacing the cameras and wireless charging coil flex and also tried restoring with the new parts but this didn't solve the Kernel panic or non-functioning cameras/flash. Flashing firmware fails most of the time with the cameras plugged in. Is there another part on this circuit that could be faulty causing these issues? What parts are required to be plugged in and working to prevent kernel panics/boot loop? Any ideas what could be going on? The phone is brand new condition with 100% battery health and its no longer under warranty so I'm lost on how to fix it.

iPhone 14 Plus: Can I safely test my new screen after iPhone 14 Plus got wet?

Hi I have a quick question! I'm replacing an iPhone 14 Plus screen - it was dropped and smashed and water got inside... I have a replacment screen now and want to test the functions of the phone but am still unclear on something... If I connect the screen will the device damage the screen?

There's no water left in the device, I just wondered if some of the older potential shorts may exist and could damage it....

OR am I ok to put the screen on the connectors, reconnect the battery and test it?

Alternatively, am I better to check all of the connctor with a microscope, clean them up and replace capacitors etc that are damaged before testing the screen?

I want to test it but I just don't want to fry this brand new screen...
