iPhone starts and operates but does not connect to cellular; run the 'finish repair' routine and it fails - will not allow the digital repair to work. Have been through the Shut Down / Restart to diagnostics routine a few times. This is my fifth iFixit repair and I believe it is installed correctly. Cannot iMessage, phone, etc.

So I ordered a battery and screen adhesive from ifixit so I can replace my iPhone 12 Pro battery.

At first boot with the new battery, phone reported black screen with "battery needs charging" icon. Alright, plugged it in and it started no problem. I read that sometimes the phone needs charging juice to turn on.

It turned on and reported 60% something percent charge. Alright, following the battery calibration guide on ifixit website and on the battery's box, I left the phone to charge until it reaches 100% and leave it charging for at least 2 more hours.

Done so and came back after 6 hours to phone stuck at 94% charge. Battery optimization was enabled at the time. There was no mention of this feature in the guide. I disabled battery optimization and put the phone to charge again. Came back after 2 hours and phone was still stuck at 94% charge?

I force restarted the phone while it was charging and it showed 98% charge. Cool. I'll leave it to charge to 100% then. Except... it didn't charge...

It stayed at 98%. I thought I would have to drain it completely and charge it back up so I started using it until it would shut down, no problem. Came back home and phone went to 0%. Cool. I left it to charge overnight and in the morning I woke up with 70% battery. When I unplugged it, the % started to go down about 1% every few minutes. Strange... Plugging the phone back in told me it was charging but the % was still decreasing. Force restarted again, it showed 94% battery and it started dropping fast again.

Now I'm in the situation where I think the ifixit battery is low on charge and the phone refuses to charge it. What else can I try? Is my ifixit battery DOA and I need to get a new one (and new screen adhesive)?

Apple's official repair manuals state: "Never reinstall a screw after it has been removed. Install only new screws. iPhone screw grooves are covered in adhesive that can’t be reused." Is that really something I should be concerned with when doing a repair?

Dear, today i have changed my iphone screen and battery, but after the replacement the phone loses celluar connection with no signal after 3-5 minutes (or frequent) but it comes back on after few seconds

Can something be damaged like a flex cable? i used to repair multiple phones in past, never accure this problem,

Can it be screen or bad battery issue?

Just replaced my original screen with a soft OLED and as soon as I powered it on the logic board gets very hot in less than 5 minutes. I followed the instructional video to the T on YouTube for screen replacement and did everything correctly.

Anything I can do to resolve this issue or did I get a faulty screen and need to return this one?

So i bought this iphone 12 pro with a cracked screen and back glass , but after replacing both i noticed some strange behavior, te gyroscope and accelerometer stopped working, as well as the flashlight which i tried replacing, but still didn’t work, when i opened the camera app it was very glitchy and i could only smoothly switch the camera lans on panorama mode , could this be a motherboard issue?

Camera rear lens does not capture any pictures while using photo mode. But i could take pics through portrait at 1x zoom but not 2x. I could also capture videos and panoramas. And capture through snapchat too with the default camera but not while zooming too.
