iPhone 11 Pro Max: Stuck on “connect to mac or to a pc with itunes”

Brand new iphone 11 pro max. Customer received a swap device from apple. She went through the wizard and scanned her esim. After that the phone said it needed an update. After updating it keeps failing to activate and that I need to connect the iphone to itunes. When I do this, it succeeds goes to the home screen for less than 1 second and then it says activating again.

Tried restoring using both recovery mode and dfu mode. Both times it will get stuck on the same screen. What strange is that her esim is still registered even after restoring with dfu mode. Is this a hardware malfunction?? Have not seen this before.

(If at top, where someone thinks it is, how does that make sense when you’re on a call, using only the iPhone to speak into, with ear to phone?
iPhone 11 Pro Max: Mic2 thermalmonitord panic still thrown after flex cable replacement

I have a water-damaged iPhone 11 Pro Max A2161. Face ID stopped working immediately (shocker) and a few days later, the thermalmonitord boot loop started. I replaced the power flex cable with one from iFixit, no luck. I replaced the replacement cable with an original Apple donor one off eBay, no luck. 180 second panic cycles happen like clockwork. I used this and this iFixit question and this site as reference.

I don't own a microscope, but the pins on the connectors look good under a magnifying glass. I'm no electrical engineer, but I'll happily become one to save the phone. Does anyone have any suggestions on my next move?

iPhone 11 Pro Max: Earpiece Replacement and Face ID Functionality

I’ve been asked to replace the front earpiece for an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Will Face ID still work after replacing this part? I’m a bit uncertain about this from the repair guide: “The flood illuminator forms part of the biometric Face ID security feature, and Face ID functions will fail if the original component is damaged or incorrectly installed. Replacing it with a new part will also cause Face ID to fail, so take extra care not to damage any of these components during this procedure”.

iPhone 11 Pro Max: Back Glass Repair = Thermalmonitord Missing Sensor Mic 2

While doing a back glass repair I managed to rip both the small microphone sensor under the flash and the gold/white sensor to the right of it. I've gone through the data logs and found an error for a missing sensor Mic 2.

I've read from other forums that this is the Power Flex Cable. My question may be a bit silly but would the power button continue to work given this error?

The phone and power button both work as they should, but the phone will reboot after 2-3 minutes. Looking on mobilesentrix to get a replacement power flex cable, it should be OEM correct?

Any advice is appreciated!

iPhone 11 Pro Max: iPhone 11 Pro Max not charging.

Hi all,

So I have this 11PM that has a dead battery (Which is Apple original), no problem I'll replace the battery. After replacing the battery I found that the device turned on but was stuck at 0% and not charging, it would also not show any battery information on 3uTools with the battery value and the ex-factory value both being at N/A, an indication that it is not reading information from the bottom connector.

After checking all the connections I tried a different battery from a different reputable supplier but have exactly the same issue. Both of these batteries give me all of their information on my jc v1s just not in the iPhone and thus although it does turn on it will not charge but it does still detect USB.

I should also note that the iPhone does not draw any current from a wall socket.

Any advice on next steps?

Thank you,

iPhone 11 Pro Max: Unknown Battery Part / Shuts off about every minute

Hello all,

As the title explains I got the notification stating I had an unknown battery part. I still have the original battery part so I'm unsure why this is popping up. After reviewing battery health it shows it's at "0%" charging and will do a restart after about a minute of it being on. This doesn't provide me a large window to trouble shoot the issue. I have also popped it open and disconnected and reconnected the battery to see if it was a possible cable connection error but the problem remains. Any ideas?

iPhone 11 Pro Max: iPhone 11 Pro Max suddenly turned off and now it won't turn on

Hey all!

I was given an iPhone 11 pro max and the previous owner said that it was working fine, and the next day the phone wouldn't turn on. it's worth mentioning that some days before, a message from the system popped up a liquid-detection alert but they didn't care. When I got it, I tried making the phone to enter diagnostic mode, tried to do a hard reset but nothing. My mind is really messed up, and I don't know any other possible things to try. The thing I suppose that might cause this whole issue is the charging PCB (because of that alert that the system popped up). Any possible things to try?
