I am helping a co-worker in getting his phone out of recovery mode, I think i know the issue but i need you good people to check my work before i turn it in

my co-worker checked his phone yesterday morning when it was still plugged in, the phone was in recovery mode. When at work, he handed me the phone and i tried booting it, it began boot looping.

Did the standard force restart, it boot loops until it goes into recovery mode

I took it back home and attempted to update the iPhone to the latest iOS Version using my MacBook Air with no luck after several attempts with the error code 4013 showing up (I even updated the macOS Software to the latest version to see if that help out but same results).

I changed cables, did the same procedure again but on my Windows 11 PC using Apple Devices, still no change.

I used 3utools and checked the logs, i included the photo to show

I am starting to believe this is stemming from an hardware issue, the best thing would be opening up the phone and checking which component is causing this issue. Is my work accurate?

After loading new software on my iPhone 11 Pro Max it’s getting stuck on unable to update try visit apple.com/support, after I did connect it to WiFi going through with process and when it’s supposed to open the page for me to put iCloud then it says unable to update….

I have a problem with phone calls failing. Happens about every third day. I try to make a phone call, and it immediately fails. Just shows that it failed and asks if I want to try again or cancel. Additional attempts fail. The only fix is to power down and then power up the phone. But 2-3 days later, same problem. Can you help?

Hello! I have a Bad Iphone 11 Pro max that has does not power on.

1.) I plug in the phone and it immediately has a .5 amp draw I believe it goes even higher if I keep increasing amps.

2.) Several caps "seem" shorted next to the audio codec IC and I have one that is in the corner of the Upper antenna coupler near the words USI

I don't have a thermal camera. When I try the freezing method they don't seem to warm up.

What can I try next to find out what the cause is?

Hi all, I was trying to repair my wife's iPhone 11 Pro max which had lines on the screen. I received a second hand screen in good cosmetic condition. It was taken off from another iPhone. I followed the instructions carefully and put the new screen on but the screen only woke up if I pressed the power button many times. Other times only the screen backlight turned up. I left the phone overnight and in the next morning, the screen wouldn't turn on at all. I thought the new screen was faulty so I returned the original scrren but had no luck. The phone itself is still functioning though apart from the black screen. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys.. so yes, the little bracket at the top right of the phone that covers the three cameras. Are these essential?

The reason I ask is because I have replaced the screen on a used device I bought and there appears to be some pressure spots / white patches at this area. I initially thought the screen was defective, so I got a new one and the exact same spots in the exact same area. Having spent hours re-doing the install process over an over I came to the conlusion that the problem is not me or what I'm doing which I will explain later. for now however, I have found that without this bracket on, the spots are gone.

Is it "ok" to keep the phone like this? are these brackets essential? what are the risks?

Following on from above. The old screen does not have spots when i reinstalled it, it's only when I put these two new replacement screens (both LCDs) do I get these spots. I understand that the original screen is OLED? so perhaps pressure spots are impossible with OLED? I'm not sure. It was just that the OLEDs are very expensive compared to LCDs but the LCDs should still be working and having these spots.

I have a client who recenlty had her screen replaced by someone else and is having face ID issues after which. I deducted that Face ID working great in good light but not at all in low light. I do not know what could be causing this issue. I do not want to reccommend repairs that i am not sure of since i cant say for sure what the issue is

I have tried everything I possibly could, and some guy got it on but every time I powered it off, it got stuck in the boot loop. Hello everybody! During battery replacement on 11 promax i accidentally touched front camera frame and my fingerprint remains on the frame. I cleanup frame by soft material, but now my camera lost painting. Who knows how to restore it ?

I found that camera frame has some very tender painting, you can touch it and it will be damaged, after cleanup - plastic on the frame will shine and looks ugly after assembly on the black surface. I dont know how to restore painting- did you?
