iPhone 11 Pro: Half of display has blue lines after screen replacement.

Hey all.

My wife dropped her 11 pro and the screen broke. I ordered a replacement and installed it like I have a few times before, but this time when I turned on the display to test it half of the screen has vertical blue lines on a black background and the other half looks "normal". However where the normal part meets the black part it appears like it is reading touches all along that line, example it is auto typing in the pin down the middle row of numbers. I was thinking it might just be the screen I ordered but I also noticed that when I power off the device it will turn right back on. The only way to get it to stay off is to unplug the battery connector.

I have reseated all connectors multiple times and feel confident there is no connection issue and there appears to be no bent pins or anything.

I will proceed with asking for another replacement screen but I am worried there may be further issues. Please let me know if anyone has had similar issues. Thank you.

iPhone 11 Pro: Removing and putting back iPhone screen without power off.

I did not take extra care and kept removing and putting back the screen assembly of an iPhone 11 Pro. At some point the screen died, but the phone was still giving vibrations. But now, I cant even hear sounds from the phone despite charging. I heard doing this can indeed destroy the screen, but then it could have caused short circuit in my phone too?

iPhone 11 Pro: Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery.

I charged my iPhone 11 Pro to 100% which I unplugged and went to bed. Woke up and checked it (I originally wanted to check the other phone I was charging so I checked it too) and twas still at 100%.

But by the time I woke up this early morning and wanted to use it and I saw it was now at 1%; which surprised me. So, I tried plugging in my charger to it but twas not charging (just stuck at that 1%).

Decided to check the "battery" in settings and the battery (capacity which was at 81% previously) was now at 0%. And I saw a message that says;

"Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery. Details from this battery may not be accurate."

Pls, what exactly is wrong?

iPhone 11 Pro: Random restart after battery replacement from ifixit

So in July i ordered a new battery from ifixit after my original battery had like 70% battery life. The phone worked like a charm for like 2-3 months but then it happened almost every day, that my phone just shut off and restarted with enough battery left (ca. 40-50%) and would restart with showing 10% charge. I asked ifixit for a battery replacement and they send a replacement (thank you). The battery came in october, i replaced the old ifixit one and the problem seemed to be fixed. Just now the same problem reappeared again, it had around 40% charge, turned off, restarted and it showed that the battery was charged only 10%.

Can anyone help me? Did i accidentally mess up my repair (doubt it though)?

Id like to add, that the phone in rare cases gets fairly hot, for example when scrolling through instagram reels. This is just additional information cause i doubt it has anything to do with the battery and more with the fact, that this phone is 4.5 years old.

Thanks for any input

iPhone 11 Pro: iPhone 11 high pitch sound when recording?

Hi!

I replaced the screen of an Iphone 11 Pro at a phone repair shop this weekend because the old was cracked and unresponsive.

After I have noticed a high pitch/static when recording with Snapchat and also with the camera app at 0.5x only strangely.

If I record normal 1x with the camera app I don't have this sound. Same with calls the high pitch does not appear.

Anyone know what could be the problem? I have read that the iphone 11 have 3 different microphones. Could maybe one be faulty? Or do you guys have any suggestions?

Thx!

iPhone 11 Pro: Phone temporary heating issue

My iPhone suffered a pretty heavy phyisical impact when it was charging. I felt it was heating up more afterwards but did not take it seriously as it was charging anyway. The next day I realised that the phone had a tendency to get very hot when in use. I could feel it on the back, but maybe it was even more noticeable on the screen. I put it away for a few hours and after that the issue disappeared. (Although the heating persisted for some hours as well.) Although, I can not tell for sure, but maybe now it gets hotter than before during charging? I can not tell for sure really. I am just wondering if I should rather get the logic board inspected or have the battery replaced (which is at 79% capacity and it writes in settings that it is degraded). Or maybe I should ignore it until the heating returns?

iPhone 11 Pro: Top board not booting

Hello guys, I got some issues with the iPhone from my aunt. She used a non-genuine adapter to charge it and burned the logic board.

I have a DC power supply and when I give the phone 4V and 3.3 AMPS it doesn't boot. I use QianLi icopy. Nothing is getting significantly hot, I couldn't measure any short on VDD main, that's why I separated the board and still it won't boot.

The DC ps shows 0.00 AMPS constantly.

The only thing that gets slightly hot for a very short time is the USB management IC, but it can only be seen through ICE spray.

I also suspect the PMU to be faulty, but there would be a short then right? I attached a picture of the PMU IC, its corners look "melted". I also noticed missing caps next to the CPU but I'm sure the phone hasn't been opened up before.

do you have any ideas what else I could measure?

When a potential buyer tried to get activate the phone it kept getting hung up on the activation screen, eventually displaying an "Unable to Activate" message. I have brought it into Apple twice, both times they said you can get a replacement phone for whatever price. I've tried the hard reset/online internet reset with apple a few times, hasn't worked.
