Im trying to use a Y000 bit on the iphone 11 battery connector cover. But the bit wont catch once i try to unscrew the screw. This problem came about as soon as I opened the phone. So no screws were stripped.

Why is my new battery discharging so fast? I have an old iPhone 11 I pulled out of a drawer to give to my daughter. It had been sitting in a drawer for the last 2 years and was completely dead when I pulled it out. I plugged it in and charged it. It charged to 100 percent but would discharge very quickly. Like within 24 hours while just sitting on the counter not being used at all. So I ordered a new ifixit battery and followed the installation guide. The replacement battery had no charge when I tried turning the phone on so I plugged the charger in. I let it charge overnight and by morning it only showed 47% charge. I left it plugged in while I was at work and came home to it showing a charge of only 30%.. I unplugged the charger and turned on a video at full brightness and let the battery discharge fully until the phone shut off. This did not take long, maybe 30 minutes. I then charged the phone overnight again. This time it showed 100% in the morning. I unplugged the phone and left it on the counter again while I was at work. When I came home it had dropped to 74% in spite of not having been used at all. I again turned on a video at full brightness and allowed the battery to discharge fully until it shut off. Then charged it overnight to 100 percent again. It is still discharging substantially while not being used, and even faster when in use. Do I have a bad battery? Something else?

When I record a voice message thuds are recorded every time the screen is touched. Any idea why this happens? The entire case has been recently replaced, but I'm not sure if the issue started before or after the swap. I'd appreciate any help.

Hi all,

I replaced the earpiece, proximity sensor flex cable, and display on my iPhone 11 smartphone because it would restart every 2-3 minutes after turning it on. The replacement was necessary because it was overheating. What should I do now to fix it? Do I need to replace the charging port flex cable as well? I would appreciate your advice.

iPhone 11: Loudspeaker no longer loud

For several months now my loudspeaker and earpiece volumes have been very low. I’ve checked all the settings, including noise cancellation, etc, and no difference. An Apple rep told me my battery could be the cause…so I changed that and after several days of using my phone there’s no improvement. Should I go ahead and just change the speaker and earpiece assemblies? Or is there something else I can check? Thank you.

I just replaced the back housing on my iPhone 11 and am looking for the sizes of the four Phillips screws that put in place the volume buttons and the mute switch, can anyone help me out?

Better yet, does anyone know where I can find a screw chart/diagram with all the screw sizes and locations of where they go for the iPhone 11? I want to check and make sure I’ve put everything in the right place so I don’t ruin anything by mistake. I’ve looked everywhere online and haven’t been able to find much luck, just bits and pieces of the iPhone 11 but nothing that covers the entire disassemble down to the back housing. Any suggestions would be great!

The iPhone 11(not pro or pro max) of my uncle and Boss won’t start the face id, meaning in the settings, those setting to use face id for certain stuff, you can’t tap on them. They are grey‘d out and won’t do anything. Also interesting: there is no „error message“(I don‘t know the word in english. In german it is Fehlermeldung). So yeah. Please help. Thx
