My iphone 11 is restarting every 3 min. Im not fluent in english, sorry.

I had put it on assistance to fix the power button, he came fine. 2 months post i accidentally dropped him in a pool and he instantly turned off. Another guy tried to replace the battery and flex cable but didnt worked.

I had youtube playing with the phone locked. The phone was likely fully charged yet still plugged in, and I know the battery health was either 64% or 44%. The video stopped abruptly and that is when I noticed the phone had turned off completely. No efforts are effective in reviving this phone. It has no water damage and has been dropped many times but with no visible damage. Has not been IOS updated in a year or more. Charging, firmware reset, and any attempts to power on have no effect.

Hello everyone,

I have faced a pretty weird issue on an iPhone 11 I recently repaired. The back housing and the screen were completely shattered, but fortunately i had a new housing pulled from a working phone.

I swapped the logicboard and all relevant components e.g. cameras, antennas etc. into the new housing, installed a refurbished OEM screen and transferred screen data onto the new one.

The phone works completely fine, Face ID is working, TrueTone is restored, BUT:

Tap to Wake does not work if the phone is placed on a flat surface, e.g. my desk.

The ridiculous part? The feature does work fine if I have the phone in my hands or a Lightning cable is plugged into the port (no need to even connect it to power!)

Tried another replacement screen —> problem persists.

Updated the phone from iOS 14.7.1 to iOS 15 Developer Beta 4 —> problem persists.

I assume a grounding issue inside the charging flex, so my next step would be to replace it with another OEM part. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, I’m pretty much at a loss.

Has anyone else faced this issue?

Im trying to use a Y000 bit on the iphone 11 battery connector cover. But the bit wont catch once i try to unscrew the screw. This problem came about as soon as I opened the phone. So no screws were stripped.

So my buddy was skateboarding one day and he tripped while riding and fell on the ground smashing his 11 screen-first that was in his hand. It had a good case and screenprotector but the screen suffered extensive damage. Luckily only the first layer of glass was smashed. The touch and LCD are just fine though. But he realized that after, BOTH the rear cameras did not work at all in any setting, and the flashlight would not work. Nothing was greyed out like you could click the flashlight button and it would show that it is on but the actual flash would not turn on. For the rear cameras, It would just show a black screen. The front camera still works just fine though. Everything else on the phone works just fine as well. I know that if the cameras are broken the flashlight will not work since they are on the same power lines or something and vice versa, but I am wondering if it is the camera unit(s) that are internally damaged or if something got knocked off the logic board because he fell really hard on the phone. I really doubt that the flashlight is the cause for the rear cameras not working so I think it’s something on the board or if it is the cameras. I opened the phone up to see if there was any visual damage (connectors, cameras, etc) and everything seemed fine. So I am just wondering what the issue is if I should buy a new rear camera unit or if it’s most likely a logic board issue. Please help!
