iPad Pro 11" 3rd Gen: iPad Pro 11" 2021 Mic not working on FaceTime calls

So i replaced the Screen assembly on an iPad Pro 11" 2021 and the mic is not working for FaceTime calls, but it works for voice recorder. Would anyone know which mic is for FaceTime calls? TIA

- Voice Memos

- Frontal Camera videos

- Rear Camera videos

- Siri con take voice commands

Mic doesn't work on this Apps:

- Face Time Audio

- Face Time Videocalls

- FaceBook Messenger video calls

I broke the screen on the m1 ipad pro 11 (2021) and found lcd replacement and was wondering since its meant for the 2018/2020 will it work.

Hello,

I have here an iPad Pro 11 3rd Generation which had a bad LCD.

We have swapped the screen and we are experiencing an issue with the Apple Pencil 2nd generation and compatible stylus.

Whenever you draw a diagonal line, you are unable to get it straight. It just makes wavy (jittery) lines. Please see image.

We have tried 2 new screen, 2 new pencils and a fresh install of iOS, but the problem is still there.

Any idea’s what is causing the issue?

iPad Pro 11" 3rd Gen: iPad got stepped on and now it's bent, faceID not working properly

So my iPad (iPad Pro M1 11-inch) got stepped on and now the frame is bent. Everything is working except for the faceID which says camera covered in the lock screen even when nothing is covering it. When hard resetting the iPad I’m able to set up a faceID once but after that it says faceID is not available. I’ve tried talking to an Apple Advisor and they ran a diagnostic test on my end but didn’t see anything wrong with it. There are also two bright spots when the background is a dark color like black where the bend was. Is there any way I can fix this with everything intact?

Hello,

As per the title I have an iPad Pro that has suffered water damage. While the device still works, sounds can be heard etc, the display shows black but the backlight works. I have tried reconnecting the cables but to no avail. Is that more likely to be a board or LCD panel issue? Tips and suggestions are welcome. Thanks

Can someone tell me what should i do , my ipad gets unresponsive and gets frozen. After a while it automatically restart . This happeend 4 times . 5th time it got completely froze until i had force restart next morning. Can somebody read this data for me? Please help

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble with my iPad Pro 3rd gen, model A2377. It suddenly stopped charging. I've already replaced both the battery and the charging port, but the issue persists.

It seems to charge very slowly when in DFU mode, but it's not recognized by my computer. I'm really stuck and could use some help.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any suggestions on what I should try next? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

iPad Pro 11" 3rd Gen: Sliced a digitizer cable while taking off screen

I needed to replace the charging port and when I powered it back on, I noticed the top part of the screen was unresponsive. After taking it apart again I realized I sliced through the top most cable to the digitizer. Is there anything I can do to repair this? Fixed one problem…created another! I was hoping this repair was going to give me a present for my daughter.

Recently swapped battery with an ifixit provided battery. iPad now behaves oddly and drains quickly. 3/4 hours of total screen on time and when it dies I plug in and it shows 15% but it isn’t accurate. I’ve tried manually calibrating but it hasn’t seemed to help. Otherwise, works as expected. Any ideas?

About a year ago in November, the year 2022, I dropped my iPad Pro in the bathtub, and it got fully submerged underwater. I let the iPad drive for about a day with only a towel, and I did not use rice. I’ve tried recharging it after about a year, but it never turned on. Is there a way that my iPad can be fixed?
