why I am asking instead of going to Apple store: I did, 2 month ago when my first 10.5” was having the same issue, after grueling battle with genius I was able to get a brand new one (Not repaired), and this one is also getting the same touchscreen issue.

what I’m trying to determine: Is it a hardware issue or a software one? How can Apple Pencil works fine while my fingers don’t? Why is it the problem only emerge after one or two months of usage.

I have tried multiple different cables, software on the MacBook pro is up to date, and i'm now at a loss as to what else can be done apart from send it in for repair which is out of my £ at the moment.

Has anyone experienced this or a similar issue and has any suggestions as to what I can do?

I recently pulled my iPad out of my bag to find something’s cracked my screen.

Is their a screen repair guide available or on its way?

Apple is quoting almost the cost of the iPad itself for the screen repair :S

Before people start suggesting fixes. Here are things I've tried. None of which work.

turned off bluetooth

turned off multitasking

turned off accessibility options

did many hard reboots

turned off in the regular manner and restarted, many times

did a factory reset

probably some other things...

Got a customer that changed the screen on his iPad by him self. The replacement went approximately ok, but the iPad keeps restarting every 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

He told me that he did not separate the logic board from the battery connector when he disconnected the old screen and connected the new screen…

When he connects the old screen again, the iPad do not restart every 2 min…

It´s an original screen.

I REMOVED THE NAND TO WRITE A NEW sN

The restore it after i write the new sn

But suddly ipad become dead i checked on power supply A0.2

And no digram or schematic for this model

So far, I have tried to fix it by updating, reinstalling iOS from iTunes, and using a different, cord and brick, both of which I got from the Apple Store. None of this has worked. Any ideas on what’s wrong and how to fix it? Thanks

Notes:

• I use either a 29w Apple brick with the USB C to Lightning cord or a 12w brick with a USB to Lightning (All of which are Apple or MFi certified)
• I have tried restarting the iPad while charging which works for a bit but starts doing it after 5 minutes of charging or so
• The problem stops when I am done charging.

This is my situation. First, I fix LCD screen on my self.

while doing repair, I unfortunately tear the home button(Touch ID) cable.

My LCD is perfectly repaired but home button is not working. so I was using assist touch instead of home button. (it was fine)

But After make IOS updates,

Press home to update make me crazy.

assist touch is not appeared.

I already connect to my Mac with cable, but didn’t recognize it.

and I already connect with to pc iTunes but didn’t recognize, too.

Are there any other way to skip the ‘press’ the home button or fix it?

Plz somebody help me…
