just repaired the backlight on a friends ipad mini after water damage.

the ipad is fully working but the screen now lights up on its own without any promt from a user. I have replaced the 3 backlight components again but this has not solved the issue.

it doesn't open any apps, it just lights up for a few seconds then goes black again.

any help?
