My boss was give me this ipad so they for get ID PASSWORD,SO she is old age thats why the was gives me that ipad,so now i can't used because they need ID PASSWORD,so if im asking how to remove ID PASSWORD,and im scared to follow him because they gonna think im going to do wrong things on her email thats i want to remove it id and im gonna used,they give me email but they dont member a password and the numbers was used because the was use many numbers,so what can i so because i like and i want to used if its gonna be fixings thanks guys

If I take the logicboard of an Ipad Mini 3 (Model A1600; wifi + Cellular), would it work if put it into the housing the IPAD mini 3 (Model A1599; just wifi) ?

I just want check if this is doable.

Hi guys I’ve done multiple times iPad mini fpc connector replacement. But this time I was out of stock for flux. Then I used low quality flux. I ended up with missing pin.

Please tell me that is just gnd. I couldn't find any schematic about iPad mini 3.

I noticed when repairing the top right cellular antenna that the little flat flex cable that connects underneath to the motherboard is damaged. This little flat cable is something you can’t order anywhere except to buy a damaged overpriced Ipad mini 3 to pull that part off. My question is this…..Can I simply just use a small wifi or Bluetooth cable and connect it that way? It’s the same little round connector.

Hi, i got an ipad mini 3 with touch problems, thinking i would replace the digitizer and be done with it. When replacing i noticed that the problem was with the fpc connector, and since I do not have the micro soldering capacities to deal with it, I was thinking if it was possible to replace the logic board with one from a mini 2, and use a mini 2 digitizer.

Replacing the digitizer and LCD on our iPad Mini 3. Transferred the home button from the original screen to retain TouchID functionality. For some reason though while TouchID works the home button does not. Tried the home button that came with the screen and that one doesn’t work either.. Any tips?

iPad Mini 3 LTE: repaired display not working after update to iOS 12

New display and new digitizer successfully installed. Everything was working properly.

After update to iOS 12, the display does not work anymore.

If one tries a hard reset the display works until is on but after having switching off the iPad the same situation appears again: the display is black (actually one can see the back light on but nothing else) and after an hard reset is working only until the iPad is switched on, when it goes in sleep or it is switched manually off, then it is not possible to switch the display on again (always only the back light is on).

Further, the display has now a big spot which is more black than the rest when the display is off and more white/bright of the rest when the display is on.

Anyone has an idea of what is the problem?

i have replaced the charging port on my ipad mini 3, on inspection the port was faulty 2 pins touching, the port has been re-replaced but it wont charge, i can see a few darkened caps around the pm ic but they check out ok. please help

Had a iPad mini 3 come back for a loose home button re-adjusted and adhered the button back. Went to test the device attempts to boot x2 then red screens

What I have tried

- unplugging anything and everything that's not soldered down minus the LCD

- cameras front and rear

- power button

- digi

- home button

- aux

- antennas

- coaxel cables

What I have not tried

- restoring

Hi community,

after the glass and screen replacement (they work both well) on my ipad mini 3 LTE, i've a problem with the original home button (i've token the old home button to put it on the new glass);

The button doesn't work well; it reads my finger print to unlock with fingerprint, but it's locked as it's always pushed and is not possible to push and use it.

I've tried the calibration but without solving.

can you help me?

iPad Mini 3 LTE: Horizontal bars at bottom of screen (near home button)

I have a greyish/transparent bar, more like a series of lines at the bottom of the screen. When I rotate the display, the lines remain. Sometimes they aren't completely there, but a single thin line about 1/2 inch from the bottom seems to always be there. From what I have read, I believe it to be the LCD, but I'd like to be a little more certain before I buy the part and open it up.

I am confident with doing this type of work, I just want to be sure of the part that is needed.

iPad Mini 3 LTE: Needing board component names/numbers for repairing water damaged iPad

I recently purchased a water damaged iPad mini 3, after looking at the iPad under the microscope I can see the lcd connector, and roughly 5 of the sourounding capacitors/filters are visibly damaged.

I’m looking to replace these damaged parts, but can’t find any schematics for the mini 3 to find out what bits I need to order in,

Does anyone have any idea what the sourounding components are please?

I do have a picture I can email over also to help pin point which ones.
