iPad Mini 3 Wi-Fi: LCD turns on then off after replacement

I got a third party display and front glass + digitizer for replacement. After following all the steps in the guide, I went to test both while the iPad was still open.

At first, the LCD turned on as normal, the home button worked, but the digitizer gave me nothing.

Then, after fumbling a bit, trying reconnecting both, the LCD started turning on then immediately off every time I rebooted the iPad holding both the home and lock buttons for a few seconds.

The screen only got to showing the Apple logo for a bit, then going black, including the backlight.

The iPad stayed on as it made the charging sound, and got picked up in iTunes.

I thought I had killed the display, but no, the old one also did the same thing when I tested it.

So what could be the issue here? thanks

iPad Mini 3 LTE: Lock/Unlock not working by touch id

There have probably been many such inquiries, but I can't find them. The Touch ID strip on my iPad mini 3 has been damaged, the tablet locking function does not work when damaged. Is it is there a way to repair it? Sorry for my English.

iPad Mini 3: Internet works but cannot download or open apps

I replaced the digitizer of an iPad Mini 3 and afterwards the customer came back and his apps cannot be opened. It closes right away. I restored the ipad to the newest iOS 12.4.9 and I can sign into iCloud but not into appstore. It looks like it is signing in but then nothing happens. Same with downloading apps. It asks for my password and then nothing happens.

iPad Mini 3 LTE: repaired display not working after update to iOS 12

New display and new digitizer successfully installed. Everything was working properly.

After update to iOS 12, the display does not work anymore.

If one tries a hard reset the display works until is on but after having switching off the iPad the same situation appears again: the display is black (actually one can see the back light on but nothing else) and after an hard reset is working only until the iPad is switched on, when it goes in sleep or it is switched manually off, then it is not possible to switch the display on again (always only the back light is on).

Further, the display has now a big spot which is more black than the rest when the display is off and more white/bright of the rest when the display is on.

Anyone has an idea of what is the problem?

Thanks

iPad Mini 3 LTE: Screen fails sometime after replacing digitizer

I replaced the digitizer on an iPad mini 3 LTE. Everything worked great. (Parts sourced from reputable retailer; my supplier has a limited lifetime warranty.) The customer picked up the device, and then several hours later called and said the display stopped working. I had this exact issue with an iPhone 6s a few weeks ago. Both devices were thoroughly tested, and worked perfectly when the customer picked them up. With the iPhone, I tried multiple screens, and the display intermittently worked. The customer has not brought the iPad back to me yet, I advised them to try a soft reset, and if that doesn't work, bring it back to the shop tomorrow. The iPhone repair was with an LCD digitizer assembly, the iPad mini was a digitizer only replacement.

iPad Mini 3 LTE: Why is my screen white and unresponsive after switching batteries?

Alright so this iPad was having problems with charging, you would plug it in and it would not show a battery but after a period of time it would pop up an Apple logo but wouldn't turn on. I eventually left it to charge for a long time and it booted on but remained at 1% and wouldn't budge. I kept hard resetting it and rebooting it but it wouldn't fix I even was able to get it to bump up to 2% but it wouldn't go up above 2% I took it apart and took the battery out and replaced it now it turns on and is obviously at the lock screen but the screen is completely white. It wont fix and I'm not sure what to do. It also seems to be popping up in the left and right bottom corners next to the home button but for the life of me I can not figure out why.... It's my customers and I really want to fix it ASAP 1 for my customer and 2 for the sanity of my mind. Can someone please help me?

iPad Mini 3 Wi-Fi: iPad Mini 3 Home Button Loose after Digitizer Replacement

I have replaced my own iPad Mini 3 Digitizer and am having a little trouble.

I lost the small black Home Button Gasket adhesive Ring that seats between the Home button and Digitizer. It's pretty much a spacer. I tried to make one out of a notecard (failed), and then card stock paper with neither working to my liking. It always left too much wiggle room and the button was loose and moving around, but it definitely helped!

I also noticed the home button only "clicks" when the top half of the button is pressed. If I were to say "get a bad hold on the iPad" and only click the bottom half of the home button while using it, it would either not click, or barely click enough to register with the device. I have tried re-shaping the bracket a few times slightly hoping to create less or more wiggle room when needed, and each time I do the problem seemed to get worse to where the bracket doesn't even really seem to hold the button in place unless positioned perfectly and held in with adhesive.

I want to replace the home button O-ring Gasket but the only problem is most seem to be overseas or located states away. Aside from buying one which seems to be my obvious solution, would getting a new home button bracket, and the small gasket fix my problem of having a loose home button for those of you with more experience than I?

Additionally, would it be easier to purchase a fully assembled display assembly from somewhere and just replace their included home button with my original cable (to preserve TouchID)? I just hope they include that O-Ring gasket I need. Only reason this is more convenient is because I have opened this iPad so many times the adhesive on this new screen has dried up and each time I re-install it, it doesn't want to always stay put. Corners slowly start to lift and such. Dirt also gets under the screen and it's very hard to clean every time if I get fingerprints.

Image of parts I'm talking about are below!
iPad Mini 3: Backlight shorted to gorund

Hi I have a little bit of issue, and wanted to ask if you could help me to bring a solution sense to this, I received an iPad Mini 3, with no backlight issue, since it had been repaired at home in DIY method, a boy claims that he had replace an digitizer FPC connector, which took him several hours to do, I thought it is a filter fuse as always, opened it and noticed that the fuse is all fine, measure it and is legit alive, decided to take it off and see if it has a short to ground, and it indeed has, but weirdly it's on connector side not the inverter side, took off the display connector and it still has a short to ground on backlight line, any ideas what could cause it? Oh and by the way I took off both caps next to the connector on the backlight line, none of them has a fault.
