iPad Air 3: Didn't disconnect the battery during screen replacement

I followed this guide:
iPad Air 3 Screen Replacement

At step 12, it told me to disconnect/isolate the battery connector with a blocker/playing card. However I could not slide the card underneath so I proceed with replacing the screen which works fine (and displays) until I screwed the battery connector screw on. Now the screen does not work at all. Tried putting the old screen with dead lines back but no help.

The iPad still take charge and can connect to my PC, emit sound but won't display anything, any help is greatly appreciated!

iPad Air 3: The Nand on cellular iPad is dead. Is it doomed?

It is an iPad Air3 Cellular model.

After replacing the nand chip, the ipad works normally. However, since the existing nand chip is completely dead, there is no way to extract the serial, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Mac addresses. (I tried the nand programmer, but I couldn't query any Mac addresses. The chip is completely dead.) Sadly, I don't even have a Mac address written down before, so there is no way to know it.

+For devices A12 and above, I understand that Mac Address is also stored in AP, and I was wondering if there is a way to extract it.

iPad Air 3: Why ipad Air won't turn on unless I first chill it in the freezer?

I tried the two and three button methods and neither worked. The only thing that works is sticking it in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Once it turns on, it's fine, however if turned off, it won't turn on again without chilling it. Is this due to a faulty temperature sensor? If so, can that be replaced? Is the temp sensor part of the battery? The ipad is close to 4 yrs old now.

iPad Air 3: Screen keeps semi-shutting down, with or without magic keyboard.

Screen goes blank with little turning "star". Sometimes this is when I am in a game (most recent was in a sudoku) or on a social media site or in a document writing or editing... Nothing I've tried returns screen to "on". Sometimes there is a brief return to live screen and then off again. Just recently I've had a combination screen or today's date and time size large and then a sort of cartoon from somewhere and below that at least one notification. (That last stayed on long enough for me to cancel it out qnd bring up home screen and attempt to go back to work . . . a half dozen times?) Once in a while it produces a bright pink pop of a screen and then it is off and I can bring it back on in the usual way. Suggestions? Further questions? N.B. I am only 1/2 sure this is an Air3, might be a 4.

iPad Air 3: Alternative way to disconnect the battery on iPad Air 3

Hi guys,

I have a question on the battery replacement guide for the iPad Air 3. At step 12 the battery is disconnected. Since I haven't done this before, I have a little respect and don't want to break anything.

On Youtube, I found a video, where an alternative way of disconnecting the battery is described (Link, Minute 4:24). The guy in the video puts an opening pick beside the connector and not directly between the contacts of the connector.
For the iPad Air 3 this would mean, that an opening pick is put on the right side of the connector along the logic board.

What are your opinions on this method? Is it recommended or should I do it with the battery blocker?

Thank you very much for your help!

Maginos

iPad Air 3: Liquid damage so screen doesn't work but everything else seems to work

So, I spilled coffee all over my iPad. After drying it out I tested it and it actually restarted to the home screen but the touch screen part of the display didn't work. I was able to see that bluetooth and wifi worked and so it seemed the damage was centered on the display. After shutting it down and restarting over the next day or two the device began an endless loop of restarting. That's when I decided to disassemble it. Currently I have the display off the device and deciding on my next move. I'd like to repair it but has questions.

How best do I test the device aside from the display to determine they are sound?

Does the restarting behavior I described above make this issue more severe?

iPad Air 3: iPad Not Powering on - Charger weird readings

Hello everyone.

My iPad Air 3 stopped working. I then found out that the display was defective and replaced it. After that, it fully boots up once. I let it charge to about 80% and then turned it off. Now it doesn't work anymore. When I plug it into the charger it shows 5V and rises to 2.2A charging power and then drops to 2V and 0A only to then rise again to 5V 2.2A. This repeats itself endlessly.

No Apple logo or anything like that appears on the display. I've already tried a reset via power + home button.

Board looks clean so far, nothing gets hot when the charger is on.

Any tips ?
