Ipad Magic Keyboard Folio: Need replacement key for MWR533LL/A, broken hinge.

Unfortunately, my keyboard took a tumble and one of the keys broke loose. I’ve reattached the key but, one of the spokes broke off and the bottom doesn't clip on.

Will a hinge from another magic keyboards work for the ipad foilo keyboards? If not, do y’all know of any suppliers for the folio magic keyboards or a place to get something cheap to salvage off?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a replacement transducer (the inner gold nib) and successfully installed it, but unfortunately, my Apple Pencil still won’t write.

The pencil pairs and charges perfectly, and the double-tap feature works fine, the only issue is with the tip.

I couldn’t find anything obviously wrong, so I disassembled it a bit further and discovered that a specific chip/IC inside is physically damaged (not by me). It looks like it’s been broken for quite some time.

There are no markings on the chip, so I can’t identify or source a replacement. If anyone happens to know what this component is, I’d really appreciate your help.

I damaged the outside of the Magic Keyboard where the hinge is on the end. Is there a way to fix it before it rips worse?

My backlit keys no longer light. The brightness slider in ‘keyboard settings’ has no effect. I suspect an IOS update or secret shortcut as the culprit but cannot overlook a hardware issue. All other keyboard functions seem normal. Seeking advice TIA

I changed the batteries and it still doesn’t work with the iPad. When I connect the iPad to the slim folio the light goes from green to white to nothing.

I replaced the batteries in my slim folio. And yes, I put them in the holder correctly. The folio did not work and the folio’s battery light did not light. I removed the new batteries and checked their voltage. Each were above 3 volts. I installed them again, still not working. I then tried a different pair of batteries that tested above 3 volts, still not working. PURCHASED TWO NEW BATTERIES AND THEY WORKED.

It still does not work after I have tried many things, I lost the nib for about an hour, then replaced it, it says it is connected but it does not work when I try to use it.

I am able to write easily on any pencil compatible app with the pencil, however, everytime I want to use the double tap feature it fails to work. I've tried restarting my iPad and disconnecting and reconnecting the pencil to the iPad but nothing works.

As the title says: W,E,Y,P,L keys on Slim Folio Pro 11" dosn't work.

Additionally power button doesn't turn the light on when pressed. Only when the device charges.

I paired it many times, reset it etc.

The local service couldn't help me. Any ideas?

did you guys know the Apple Pencil battery CAN be replaced? It's just difficult, but it can. There are some people employing the following approach: destroying the non-removable enclosure, then removing the battery, soldering a new one, and using a custom, 3d-printed enclosure. Please check:

What do you guys think? Is there any chance to release a kit to make this process any easier? I'm asking because I think Apple will eventually make newer Apple Pencils incompatible with their older devices, and if they're not repaired, you'll have to upgrade if you want to use pressure sensitivity.

I am looking for a solution to tighten a leather smart case from Apple. The solutions here seem to be only for covers. My case is broken at the home button and some corners. I have tried with glue but the piece is very slim so it’s tougher to make it hold.

The spacebar was sticking, so i pried it off to clean it etc, now can't seem to reattach it properly... possibly broken a connection point i guess... any tips/advice?
