Ipad Magic Keyboard Folio: Need replacement key for MWR533LL/A, broken hinge.

Unfortunately, my keyboard took a tumble and one of the keys broke loose. I’ve reattached the key but, one of the spokes broke off and the bottom doesn't clip on.

Will a hinge from another magic keyboards work for the ipad foilo keyboards? If not, do y’all know of any suppliers for the folio magic keyboards or a place to get something cheap to salvage off?

I dropped my Apple Pencil a few days ago and the tip snapped off. I ordered some new tips and I tried to screw one in with no luck. I looked it up and a piece of the broken tip might still be inside the Pencil. How can I get this out?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a replacement transducer (the inner gold nib) and successfully installed it, but unfortunately, my Apple Pencil still won’t write.

The pencil pairs and charges perfectly, and the double-tap feature works fine, the only issue is with the tip.

I couldn’t find anything obviously wrong, so I disassembled it a bit further and discovered that a specific chip/IC inside is physically damaged (not by me). It looks like it’s been broken for quite some time.

There are no markings on the chip, so I can’t identify or source a replacement. If anyone happens to know what this component is, I’d really appreciate your help.

I have an Apple Pencil 2nd Gen that has not been in use for months now. Shortly after I had bought it, my puppy decided to chew on the tip. The pencil still connects and charges, however, there is no response through the tip. It will not select, write, draw, etc. I do not want to purchase a brand new one and I was hoping there was a more budget friendly way to approach this. I would like to open up the casing to check the extent of the damage, seeing how it’s not covered under warranty, but I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Thank you

My spacebar isn’t working, sticky and gets stuck, I removed the key to look at it. The little piece that the metal hinge is supposed to be held at on the ends, one is completely broken off. Can I still replace this without having to buy a whole new Magic Keyboard?

Hi all,

So my son inexplicably lost just the power button from his Logitech Crayon for his iPad. we’ve searched all over and can’t find it. I contacted Logitech and they say that:

Unfortunately there are no spare power buttons for the Crayon

They are offering a replacement Crayon if I have a “receipt”, but I purchased it used on eBay and so I doubt they will honour it, not to mention that it seems like quite a waste when the Crayon is working perfectly if you poke the power button with a pin!

I’m not sure what to do; I was wondering if perhaps someone has a 3D model that can be used with a 3D printer (though I don’t have a printer myself), or perhaps a broken Crayon they are not using which I’d be willing to purchase for the parts? I did have a look on eBay but couldn’t find any broken units to salvage the button from.

Any advice would be super helpful, thanks in advance!

My apple pencil (2nd generation) suddenly stopped working. I used it the day before and then when I woke it just wouldn’t connect. Tried connecting it to another iPad, it didn't connect either and tried connecting another apple pencil to my iPad and it worked. The only thing it shows me on the top is a flashing sign with “apple pencil” on it (no battery %).

Contacted Apple but they were no help. Tried to restart my iPad and leave the Apple pencil connected for around 45min straight, still didn’t work. Apple customer service people told me to go to Best Buy where I was told that they basically don’t work with Apple accessories i.e. the pencil.

Any advice?

Hi I have the pencil 2 and an 2020 iPad Pro the pencil has connected to the iPad magnetically and showing on Bluetooth, however the pencil is not doing anything I have tried the following

turn Bluetooth on and off

forgot pencil in Bluetooth and reconnecting

restarting ipad

changed tips

all with no joy. Has anyone any ideas that may help? Thanks
